OBUC has been a Ministry Partner with West Broadway Community Ministry (under the 1JustCity umbrella) for many years. We currently deliver cases of bananas every second Wednesday to supplement their daily meals, which started at the onset of Covid and has continued through the generous support of our Congregation and Vision Fund. In addition, our Outreach Committee with the help of our church family organizes a Chili dinner at least once a year to serve their 120-130 daily patrons with some hot food, a bun, fruit and granola bar.
