OBUC is proud to partner with the Springfield Food Bank by delivering food hampers every second Saturday to those unable to pick up on their own.  In addition, there are food drives held by the church throughout the year, and regular pick up and delivery of food from the local Co-op which has been generously purchased for the Food Bank by their customers.

The Springfield Food Bank operates out of the Anola United Church, 741 Weiser Crescent, in Anola (directly behind the Seniors’ residence).  The facility is open on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon and is available to all residents of the RM of Springfield who are in need of support.

Financial donations for the Springfield Food Bank are accepted at the RM Office in person or by mail at the following address: RM of Springfield, Box 219100 Springfield Centre Drive, Oakbank, Manitoba R0E 1J0. Cheques may be made payable to the RM of Springfield (with Springfield Food Bank noted on the memo line), with a tax receipt gratefully issued upon request.
