Infant Baptism
We celebrate infant baptism during Sunday morning worship whenever there is a family request.
Parents are asked to meet with the minister and elder to discuss the meaning of baptism and the importance of the vows that are made. Godparents are optional, but if chosen, become important participants in the new relationship, agreeing to the content of the vows and to a continuing relationship with the child.
Adult Baptism/Confirmation
Adult Baptism/Confirmation of Faith is held after the person has taken classes to discuss and explore their faith.
If the adult is unable to attend classes due to poor health or any other special circumstance, arrangements may be made to provide the available information and for a minister and elder to meet with them.
