As a charitable organization, our paid ministry and upkeep of the building are funded by the financial donations of our supporters. In regard to weddings, if you have been a supporter of this church, your regular donations have already paid for the building upkeep, and thus this fee is waived.
The Oak Bank United Church sanctuary may be rented to celebrate Christian weddings.
The sanctuary holds 200 people seated and has a sliding wall to accommodate seating for 150 more.
Our Upper Hall may be rented for wedding receptions which may include the consumption of wine with permission of the Unified Board.
We welcome people to be united in a Christian marriage in our church building or in a place agreed to by the couple and the minister. The minister will help the couple construct a ceremony that reflects their understanding of the commitment they are making, or will offer them various services from contemporary to traditional.
